Information about the host Our guesthouse in Bernhaupten is located in a quiet residential area on a south-facing slope with unobstructed panoramic views of our local mountains "Hochfelln" and "Hochgern" and "Kampenwand". In addition, we have a large garden with swing. In the immediate vicinity there is also a playground. Bernhaupten belongs to the municipality of Bergen. The village center is 3 km away from us. Bergen itself is a lively place with a spa park, Kneipp facility, natural outdoor pool with beach volleyball facilities, shopping, restaurants and events. Directly from the house, hiking and cycling tours to the Chiemgau mountains or to Lake Chiemsee are possible. Also the bike path "Königsee-Bodensee" passes our house in the immediate vicinity. The train station can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. So there is nothing in the way of a day trip by train to Salzburg, Rosenheim, Munich or Traunstein. There is also a small supermarket near the train station, which covers your daily needs. From the separate kitchen and living room you have access to the large terrace, which faces south and offers you a fantastic panoramic view of our mountains.
